To ensure the safety of all delegates at IRS11, and in line with the recommendations of the Berlin Convention Office, we followed the ‘3G rule’ at the summit. This means that everyone attending the summit was required to be vaccinated, recovered or tested.
(A) Vaccinated by a vaccine approved by the Paul Ehrlich Institute within 270 days of arrival at the summit. Vaccination status was proven by submission of a digital vaccination status beforehand or by presenting the certificate on arrival.

(B) Recovered from COVID-19 within 180 days of arrival at the summit. Positive test results as proof.
OR;
(C) If delegates were neither vaccinated nor recovered, a negative test result was required. A negative PCR test no more than 72 hours old was requested.
